Terms

A meeting will be set up with all potential clients to discuss the service to be provided and the requirements for each individual dog/pet.

COVID safe arrangements will be discussed and implemented to suit each owner and myself. Adhering to Government Guidelines and Kennel club recommendations.

Once we have reached an agreement, all new customers will be provided with a pack which contains:

  • A description of the agreed service, the price, and any special requirements

  • A copy of our terms

  • Any other useful information

Copies of our DBS check and Public Liability Insurance will be available for your viewing at the initial meeting.

All services must be paid for on the day. For example on return of the dog from the walk. If you are a regular customer then payment for the coming month, at the beginning of each month will be required.

Any special offers or packages will need to be paid for in advance.

If you need to cancel a walk for any reason, please provide us with 24 hours notice. If you cancel a walk with less than 24 hours notice you will be charged 100% of the cost of the service. If you cancel all services with no notice, one months fees will be charged in lieu of the notice period.

If for any unforeseen circumstances we are unable to attend to your pet we will give you 24 hours notice or, if in agreement, we will find an alternative person to take over the duties.

Any special dietary requirements, health considerations or behavioural issues must be discussed on the first consultation. If issues occur after the service begins then the owner must notify SolentK9 of the change of circumstances as soon as possible. The health of the pet is our paramount concern.

We reserve the right not to accept aggressive or overly boisterous dogs.

Dogs will only be let off the lead with written permission of the owner. Also if we think it is safe to do so.

If your dog/pet incurs an injury or illness whilst in our care we will take them to their own vet. If it is an emergency we will take them to the nearest vet. The veterinary costs will be paid for by the owner of the pet.

Please note, there is an additional charge of 45p per mile for travel in excess of 5 miles from the SolentK9 address.

Concessions and special rates are available for the elderly, owners with special needs and owners that need to spend time in hospital. Please email jo@SolentK9.com for more information

Please note their will be an extra charge of £25.00 on Bank/public holidays.
